1990年考入我校武术学院，有“中国散打王”的美誉。曾连续三年获得“中华武状元”称号，两次荣获“中华人民共和国体育运动奖章”；他曾先后出访或执教于美国、意大利、西班牙、秘鲁、印度尼西亚、塞尼加尔、马达加斯加、韩国、越南、俄罗斯等国家，为弘扬中华武术做出了卓越的贡献。中央电视台、北京电视台、新华社、人民日报等三十多家新闻媒体对其事迹进行了专题介绍。
